International Shipbuilding Industry and Maritime Industry Trade Exhibition in Shanghai |

From 4 to 6 September Helical will be exhibiting at the International Shipbuilding Industry and Maritime Industry Trade Exhibition in Shanghai. The venue is the Everbright Exhibition Centre, Shanghai, Stand B236/B237. The exhibition website is www.chnmarine.net.
The main purpose of our participation is to demonstrate our production and design capabilities for valve rotators used in marine engines. Technical and sales staff from the UK and from our Chinese subsidiary Helical Engineering Kunshan will be manning the stand.

These are used on large diesel and gas engines. Each time a valve closes, the valve rotator turns the valve slightly, and allows the inlet and exhaust valves to be heated and cooled symmetrically. It also prevents valves sticking due to uneven carbon build-up, or wear on the valve seat.
